Megan did a great job with her song. I think she would have done better if she didn't watch everyone else, and concentrate on her own performance. She didn't like wearing makeup, but did enjoy going up on the stage.
Madison performed to 'Jump and Jive', and also did great. It was such a cute dance with a fun song. After the song she did her cartwheels, round offs, walk overs, and splits. I wish I could have been that flexible. Madison looked really cute in her flip zone outfit. Her next performance is the Mesa Veteran's Day Parade.
Scott and I didn't like paying the money for the fair parking ($12), but we all got into the fair for free (a nice surprise). It seemed like such a long drive and big expense (23 total) but it is good for the girls to get up on stage in front of other people. It will help them as they get older not to have stage fright.
After the performance we told the kids they could have one treat or one ride. Megan choose an ice cream cone. Ben choose to ride down the big slide. Madison decided to wait for her treat until we went to Costco- she loves the berry smoothie. Ben had fun riding down the big slide- but did say it was a lot of walking to get all the way up there.
