Christmas Play

Ben's class play was last night. All the second graders performed holiday songs celebrating Christmas, Kwanza, and Hanukkah. Ben was excited to sing 'Rocking Around the Christmas Tree' and practiced that song over and over. He let his knowledge go to his head a bit- he keeps correcting us on the correct words of O Christmas Tree. The play was great- and again I am thankful that it only lasts 30 minutes.

This morning Ben ran out to the car holding his shoes and socks. We realized a block away from the school that he only had 1 sock. He was getting quite upset and didn't want me to bring him a sock after I walked the girls to their class lines. This is when Nolan said that he was wearing 2 pairs of socks and Ben could borrow one sock. I asked Nolan why he would be wearing 2 pairs of socks to which he replied he always wore 2 pairs for just in case Ben needed one. Nolan saved the day.
