1. Sleeping in- of course the last 2 hours of my sleep were spent next to Blake (in my bed) wishing he would scoot closer to Scott and kick him instead.
2. Lazy breakfasts and mornings with cartoons.
3. The kids playing nice with each other.
4. Going to a friends party.
5. Playing at Grammy's house.
6. Mario Kart competition, Blake crying, Scott is home.
7. Eating out for dinner.
8. The beginning of the tired meltdown for the kids
9. Rushing through scriptures
10. Quick baths
11. Tears (kids, not mine)
12. Story time
13. Ben hiding downstairs
14. More meltdown.
15. Finally in bed, and hoping no one gets out of bed for one more drink.
16. Megan out of bed- 'my arm hurts where my fake tattoo is'. I say, 'that is why we don't get tattoos, go run it under cold water and head back to bed'.
17. Madison out of bed: Can I stay up late tonight?? I said, 'are you kidding? It is a school night, head back to bed.
18. Finally everyone is asleep, and now I get to wash the dishes, put away the laundry, and clean up for tomorrow.
19. 8pm doorbell rings- (Just so you know, if you ring my doorbell at this hour unexpectedly you might receive a dirty look.) I hear kids feet hoping out of bed running to see who it is. It is our home teacher (wearing his scouting uniform) wondering if the Evan's family would like to donate to Friends of Scouting. Scott says sure they would. The hometeacher says, wait I forgot your envelope at home I will be back another time. Some people make me laugh. I needed a laugh at this point.
I enjoy holiday's, but I am sure glad they are spread out through the year.

Our doorbell did not ring until 8:30 and I almost did not answer it!
Evans? Did you change your last name?
My thoughts exactly - Evans?! Love reading your updates.
Sounds like you guys had a great Christmas break. It was over way to fast for me. I love sleeping in!
