Reality Check

My Mom left a few hours ago to go back to South Carolina. She has been a HUGE help to me these past few weeks. She has basically been here since the week of Christmas helping with the kids and Macy. With her gone I am going to have to pack school lunches by myself (thanks to her, Megan now wants her sandwiches cut into little triangles), drive carpools, cook dinner, clean my house, watch TV alone, shop alone, hold Macy in the middle of the night when she wakes up (goodbye naps), and just miss her company. Luckily she will be back in 25 days (counting down already) ,with Jennifer and my Dad, for a short stay. After that, I might have to consider moving out to the 'compound'.
