Ben told me the other day that he was more excited to turn 10, then for Christmas. 10 means going to South Carolina this summer, having a facebook account, and a birthday party. We are waiting a few weeks to have the birthday party until Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2 movie comes out.
Ben is goofy (he has this odd dance/walk going on right now), smart, and really a great help to me. The other day we went grocery shopping and I pushed Macy in a cart, and Ben pushed the grocery cart. He then loaded all the groceries into the car while I put Macy in the car. Ben loves to ride his bike, play the wii, read books, play basketball, cub scouts, and go to school. Ben likes you to think that he isn't paying attention- but will then say something a few hours later that lets you know he was listening.
Ben wanted Costco pizza for dinner, and a cookie/ice cream cake for dessert. Great choices. Afterward he opened his gifts: nerf gun, Madden11 wii, Beetles piano book, and a few other books to read. Earlier in the day his class went on a field trip to the Pueblo museum, so he said he had a great birthday!
