This kid is all about numbers: how many days until my birthday, how many days until I get enough money to go to the lego store, how many days until school.... Blake has been counting down the days to his birthday since June. He has been so excited to turn 6. We went to the mall this morning and rode around on the animal power wheels, then we went to ToysRUs and picked out a few birthday presents. Now he has his best friend, Jeffry, over to play. We will finish the night with dinner at McDonalds and presents at home. His cake of choice was a big cookie and homemade ice cream. Yum, he has great food taste.
Blake loves to read, play outside, legos, video games, ride his bike, play soccer, swim, color- basically a little bit of everything. He has started to eat lettuce since he is almost 6 (his own theory), and now that he is 6 will drink his smoothies faster (again, his own theory). He snores, laughes when he is nervous or in trouble (I did the same), talks non stop, loves to be outside, and loves school. 6 is a fun age!
