Going to school on Saturday works out really well for me. Scott can stay home with the kids- so I can worry a little less. Of course, it was on a Saturday that Blake needed stitches so I might need to rethink that theory. Overall, it works well- until a fun activity comes up. Saturday morning was the ward Easter egg hunt. We went last year and the kids had a great time but we didn't come home with a lot of eggs. This year the ward must have increased the number of eggs because the kids came home with 36 eggs. Madison was very excited to get at least one egg this year since last year she wasn't so lucky. We filled our own Easter eggs last week so Blake knew that candy would be inside. Scott said Blake found one egg and stopped right there to eat it immediately. Egg makers should really make it harder to open the eggs. The kids all had a great time finding the candy filled eggs and then when it was over they had donuts for breakfast-eek. Too much sugar. Luckily, as a friend told me, this is the last sugary holiday before Halloween- so I guess one more day of sugar isn't that bad.
