Scott and the other kids were at Ben's baseball game during the award ceremony. When I got home Scott said that next year he would go to Academic Night. I said I had earned that night by driving the kids to school, volunteering in the classes, helping with homework, spelling tests, summer workbooks, buying books, going to the library, etc... So every year is my year.
Sometimes I don't get Madison's teacher this year. Madison won the Academic award, is on the Principles List for straight A's, but for some reason she is not on the honor roll. I know, I shouldn't be concerned with this, but how does someone with her grades not get on the honor roll? Confusing. Oh well, I am very proud of Madison and her academic accomplishments. Ben and Megan are both saying that they too will receive Academic awards like Madison's. Madison is a great example.

is the honor roll subjective? ours is based on gpa/grades....i guess if you have really bad behavior you cant get on...but at that age? hmmm..
btw...Madison---I LOVE YOUR DRESS!
Congratulations! A wonderful accomplishment! I don't get it about the honor roll either, it does not make any sense!
In our schools Principal's list is a step above the Honor Roll. I believe all A's is PL and A's and B's is HR.
Congratulations, Madison, keep up the good work!
Congrats Madison! I am sooo proud of you!
I have a new blog just for family and friends

Wonderful! What a good example to your other kids.
My understanding is that Principal's list is the best you can get. All A's. Honor roll is for kids who get A's and B's
