I like to jokingly tell Scott that he is an old man since he is 3 years older then I am. I enjoy having that little bragging right that he will hit all the BIG milestones before me: 40,50, 60... But first, 35. We celebrated his birthday by going to work. Luckily, we both got off early so we could have Wendy's for dinner and then go to IKEA and Arizona Mills (was this Scott's birthday or mine?). Saturday morning we went and saw ToyStory 3 and went to the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball game. The Herron's lucked into getting 4 seats to the game, so we got to sit in the 30th row behind first base. I have never sat so close to all the action- we could read the players names right off their jerseys. The seats also let us see all the errors the Diamondbacks committed. Hopefully the bad game didn't prevent Scott from having a great birthday. Scott couldn't wait until his birthday to get his present so a few weeks ago he picked out an underwater camcorder/camera. He and the kids are really enjoying swimming in the pool while doing crazy stunts under the water for the camera.
This morning Scott and Madison left for South Carolina. Madison is going to spend the next few weeks with Grandma and Grandpa. She is very excited for all the fun she thinks she will have. Hopefully she won't mind coming home. When I asked Madison what was I going to do without her this summer, she replied 'you will have to do your own vacuuming, cleaning, playing with Blake.' So true, Madison has always been a big help around the house. She will be missed.

Steve is 3.5 years older than I am, so I love rubbing it in. Our ages when we met were 19 and he had just turned 23. I thought he was an old man. :)
Respect your elders ladies :)
