Macy- 29 weeks

This week has been a busy one. Macy, Ben, and I flew to South Carolina early this past Saturday morning and then tomorrow we (Macy and I) fly home. Macy had her 6 month doctor appointment last Tuesday and had a fever for 5 days. Her highest fever was 103.5 and would come down with Ibuprofen, but always went back up after a few hours. Not fun. Finally Saturday night she had her last dose of Ibuprofen and the fever didn't come back. I have decided after that experience that she shouldn't have all the shots at one time- her little body shouldn't have to try to handle all that. Luckily, Scott can handle fevers better then I can and would hold Macy while we waited for her medicine to kick in. I would pace the floor. After watching Megan have febrile seizures a few times I can not stand a fever in a baby- glad they don't happen very often. So, with the diarrhea 2 weeks ago, and the fever this week Macy has not been sleeping well at night. She is getting up about 3-4 times at night to eat before going back to sleep. I am hoping that this will end soon. I am just glad that Macy is feeling better now.
