Where does the time go? I still remember waking up early on a Wednesday morning and driving to the hospital to deliver Madison. I remember the next day was raining (we have had a wet September this year too). The day we brought Madison home it was a little chilly outside and I had only brought a little pink onsie to have Madison wear home, so all the nurses started piling blankets on top of her and the carseat. It was a learning process. I am glad that Madison doesn't mind that we continue to learn along the way. She has been looking forward to turning 12 for the entire year it seems. She was interviewed by the bishop a week ago and received her "name", already had her birthday party, and has a busy weekend ahead: camping, final primary program, first Sunday in young women's, and first time attending mutual. I hope I can handle all the changes, Madison will do great. She went to the doctor this week to get her school's physical done so she can try out for the cheer team. She is now 59 inches tall and 87 pounds. Hopefully she doesn't mind that I posted that- figured maybe when she is older she would like to know what her size was in the 7th grade.
For her birthday she wanted a sewing machine. I have wanted one for awhile so I am glad that Madison won't mind sharing. She also got the chair that Scott made for her, some violin music, money, a dress, necklace and bracelet, a flower clip, and some candies. She wanted to have Costco pizza for dinner, so wish granted. Madison said it was her best birthday ever.
Madison loves junior high, enjoys playing the piano and violin, is an awesome gymnast (and had to quickly open presents so she could go to her dance class), loves to read books, rides her bike, and still likes to play with Blake and Megan with cars and other toys. We love this girl.
