Finally, after 16 months of waking up 2-3 times a night, Macy is sleeping through the night. This is the best news ever. I couldn't handle hearing her 'cry it out' so I moved a foam pad, blankets, and a pillow into her room and when she woke up I would go in and sleep on her floor. After a few days of that- no more waking up to eat in the middle of the night. Love it. She wakes up around 6am and will sometimes go back to bed, but I can't complain too much since I am finally getting about 7 hours of solid sleep each night.
Maybe she is sleeping better because she is very busy during the day: climbing chairs, running around, climbing the couch, climbing chairs, etc. She is very busy- so I am very busy following her around everywhere. She loves to read books, playing the piano, dancing, singing, coloring. And- her vocabulary has really taken off this past month. She now says- Mom, Dad, Blake, cheese, please, thank you, more, and book. We think she is borderline genius (just like the rest of our kids).
