Our ward had their annual Easter Egg Hunt this morning. We started out early (8:30am) to beat the heat. The kids always enjoy the buffet breakfast of rolls, donuts, fruit, donuts, donuts. Did I ever mention that they love donuts? Then around 9am we had the egg hunt. Each kid was able to collect 12 eggs from around the park. Macy's age group started first and it was slow moving. No one really rushed for the plastic eggs. I showed Macy how to put the eggs in her basket and she did really well for about 2 eggs until she kicked an egg open. Once she saw that there was candy on the inside she was done looking for eggs and wanted to just eat the candy out of the kicked egg. Blake, Megan, and Ben took off running like old pro's and quickly collected their allotted eggs. We all had a great time.
