Back to Reality

Well, summer is over- almost. Tomorrow Scott goes back to work after his 8 week sabbatical. He decided that he would like a clean car so he did his annual car wash (not kidding). After scrubbing the car I think he has decided that he needs more regular washes. The kids were quick to ask to help- but I don't think they did much besides getting wet. The car looked great for about 12 hours before it started sprinkling. Oh well, that is life.

Tomorrow we go to the kids school, Canyon Rim, to meet the teachers. The kids are excited since they get to wear their new school clothes. Then Madison and Ben will start school on Monday. Megan has to wait another week for her preschool to start.

Blake has had a busy week. He started crawling up the stairs, and pulling himself up into a standing position while holding onto something. He took forever to start crawling, but I don't think walking to too far off. He gets his last breathing treatment tomorrow morning and then hopefully we can be done with that. He has gotten used to receiving them so he really just sits there for the 15 minute session. Blake has such a sense of humor. He loves playing peek a boo, and putting things on his head to make people laugh. Earlier tonight he was enjoying having a diaper over his head.

Ben is such a trooper. During church he had his fingers shut in a door- and didn't even cry. He had some purple fingers for awhile, and the skin was pretty indented- but now they look fine. And he can move them. Big sigh of relief.
