Holiday Weekend

This past weekend was Memorial Day. We really didn't do much since Scott didn't fly home from Amsterdam until Saturday night. Monday, Scott decided that he didn't want to crawl over the passenger seat every time he needed to get into the car so he cleaned out the garage. We can now open the driver side door of the Toyota so that is nice. (Side note: I drove Kaylee home tonight and she asked what the smell was and I said it is the new car smell. Kaylee said it was really nice. The rest of the way you could hear her sniffing). Scott also found time to start building my new pantry. I was surprised that he had time to do that after making 4 trips to Lowes.

On a side note, I met Tiffany near a Carter's tonight and she mentioned some cute clothes on sale for 50-75% off. I had to remind myself that my kids did not need any new clothes- but 10 miles later I was still wishing I had gone in the store. Is there such thing as an addiction to buying kids clothes?? If so: Hi my name is Amy, and I have a problem.

That's cute Amy, when my son was young, cute clothes were hard to pass up! Now for me, as strange as this sounds, it's towels! So I have to watch myself with "window shopping"!

Hi, my name is Merrilee and I am an addict! My problem is that I don't like to take the kids with me to get clothes for them and I always buy the clothes too small or just the right size. The kids grow out of the clothes too fast or shrink after one load of wash...so back to the store we go.
