While Scott and the boys were off camping the girls and I had a great (and quiet) time at home. Thursday night after they left everyone slept in my bed. Then early Friday I took the girls over to Laurali's to spend the morning while I went in to take a test. Laurali took Madison to school, and Megan stayed until about 1:30. Lali said Megan wanted to go home after McKenna left for school, but agreed to stay until I came to pick her up.
The test I took was equivalent to the LPN exam I could take if I wanted to get my license now. The text took 3 hours and had 250 questions. My brain felt like it was going to explode by the time we finished. I received my score and I did better then the national average and did better then the school average (by a lot!!)- but I failed in patient safety. Guess I will have to work on that.
Back to the girls day- we then picked up Madison from school and went to get pedicures down the street. Megan had a great time picking out a color to paint her nails (Those are her feet in the picture). Madison went straight for the blue. Next came gym pictures. We got there early, and good thing since Madison was wearing the wrong costume. We hurried home and changed and made it back just in time for the photo. By then it was time to go to Marita and Bernie's for the sleepover. While I was there I inherited an old couch and Marita will recover it so we can put it in the playroom.
I have never stayed by myself at home before. I was a little nervous in the middle of the night, but luckily I have been so tired with school that I didn't stay awake too long. This morning was more school (sim baby) then back to Marita's to pick up the girls. They had spent the morning shopping at Mervyns and attending a baby shower. One the way home we stopped at Red Robin for a late lunch.
We are already looking forward to next years Father's and Son's campout.
