Spring Cleaning

When it is 100 degrees outside I don't think I can call it Spring anymore, but since I was in classes earlier the past 2 weeks I have been deep cleaning my house. I have loaded up countless bags of trash and other broken items, and have 7 bags of stuff heading to the DI and I still have 3 rooms to go. Big houses are nice for the space, but when it comes to cleaning them they are a pain. I realized as I was cleaning out Madison, Ben, and Megan's drawers/closets that my kids could cloth a small country. Madison had somewhere close to 25 shirts in her drawer, Megan had 5 leotards and 4 swimsuits, and Ben has 15 pairs of shorts. If only I could have that many clothes for myself. I have been buying new clothes for next fall already (stored in my closet) and didn't think I had enough. Well, looking at all the clothes I think I will stop buying for awhile-- at least until I see something really cute. After all, Megan loves wearing her 10 dresses.

I feel like the kids have a ton of clothes but nothing to wear. Their school clothes are uniforms, I like that even though it's not that exciting. But the kids are growing like crazy and by the time one child goes through them they are trashed so it's really hard to hand the clothes down. I went to Old Navy today and got a bunch of stuff on sale for Ryan and am pretty happy with the amount I got for what I spent.
