Growing kids

I'm continually amazed at how fast our kids are growing and learning. Ben has his moments but the engineer in me is very pleased with his enthusiasm for Legos. This is his latest creation. He is great at following instructions but his own designs are getting bigger and more sophisticated. It's great to see him develop his talents.

Megan is a real sweetie pie. Sometimes you just wonder if what you try to teach ever gets through by how well they seem to NOT get along. But at least yesterday there was evidence we're doing something right. She went to a friend's birthday party and her mom said she was so well behaved. Another girl was crying because she wanted a certain kind a ring which Megan happened to have. She decided to give it to her. That can be hard sometimes but it's nice to hear that she was able share so well.

Madison continues to progress with dance and gymnastics. She loves it and has 3 classes! Sometimes I think it's too much but it doesn't phase her! She also started piano and is now asking me for drawing lessons. Just thinking of her schedule tires me!

Last but not least Blake is doing well too. He is learning to use his vocal chords, sometimes to very loud effect! He loves reading about animals and loves to repeat their sounds. What a fun time to be a dad!
