Quick Oregon Trip

Yesterday and today I was fortunate to be able to travel to the Portland Oregon area for work. It is definitely the place to visit in the summer. The weather was sunny but not hot so it was nice to get out of the heat. I travelled for a series of team meetings with my team and manager. It was pretty productive despite the uncertainty of our future direction.

While in Oregon I was able spend the evening with my team at our manager's house. He lives about a mile or so from where our apartment was when we lived in Beaverton. We had a great dinner and enjoyed playing bocce ball on their lawn. We also picked a bunch of blackberries that were growing in the thickets behind their house. They were a ton and they tasted great. These are the ones I picked. They were tasty! Now it's time to head home on my private jet - the Intel Shuttle :) My quick Oregon trip was fun but it's always nice to get home. Special thanks to my mom for helping with the kids while Amy was in school!
