Apology

While I was away in Denver Scott decided to write his minute-by-minute life while watching the kids. Let me apologize to all who read it and had to struggle over Scott's horrible spelling. Scott likes to talk using BIG words, but he should know how to spell common daily words. So, again I apologize.

Thursday I started my training with Sun Valley HealthCare. It seems like it will be a great fit for me: flexible hours, no nights or weekends, and great pay. Of course once I agreed to work with them I had 3 other companies call me to interview. I had turned in my resume at those places months ago- and finally when I had agreed to work with someone else they call. Isn't that how life always is- once you agree to something a new idea pops up to tempt you to change.

Training isn't bad, just really slow. There is 5 people in my class, and the DON (Director of Nursing) can only go as fast as the slowest person. Luckily, that isn't me. I was excited yesterday because they said they were bringing cookies up. I got my hopes up and when they brought up the cookies they were PEANUT BUTTER!! I really don't care for peanut butter cookies, unless they have chocolate with them. So disappointed. Oh well, I guess I didn't need 300 extra calories.

After training Scott and I dropped the kids off at the Kenney's and went shopping for a new dishwasher. We have been washing dishes by hand for over a year and I have had it. I used to wash the dishes after breakfast and lunch, and Scott would do dinner. At some point during the summer I gave up doing dishes and would pile them nicely in the sink for Scott to wash after dinner. I was hoping he wouldn't notice the large pile of dishes added to the dinner ones. Last week, when I mentioned to Scott that I was tired of washing dishes, Scott said that I shouldn't be tired to washing dishes since he did notice that I was leaving them for him. Guess I should have been more sneaky about that. We found a great dishwasher at Spencers, but unfortunately we couldn't take it home right away. Looks like we have another week to wash dishes by hand. And if you remember from a previous post 'we' means Scott. I guess I too can forgive his spelling errors since he doesn't complain about washing the dishes.

Husbands= DISH DOERS!
Dave does all the dishes, which I also leave lovingly stacked in the sink. I figure, Im the one going to all the trouble to make food to feed OUR family for breakfast and lunch, he can pitch in too! (in his defense, he is so kind about it and never complains...even on the days that I've baked...ALOT!)
Missing you guys...don't I need to do a FREE gymnastics outfits shoot soon???? :o)
