Primary Program

Yesterday was the ward Primary program. It was my third year as chorister, with three years before that at the piano. The program went great, the kids were quiet while waiting for their parts, and the kids sang great. At least 20 people came up to me afterward and said it was the best program they had ever had. Most had never heard kids sing as well as our group. All my tireless effort week after week, the great games I come up with- I would like to think that credit goes to me- haha.

As I sat in the fourth row waiting for the program to start, a family sat in the row in front of me. I thought I should ask them to slide over once the program began, but put that thought behind me. During the first song I hit the man in front on his arm. During the second song I hit his shoulder. During the third song I hit his wife in the head. My arms (while leading) a lethal weapons. After I clocked the lady in the head, I think they got the message and moved over a little bit. Luckily, there were no further incidents. After the program I apologized profusely. The gracious couple laughed it off, and said I did them a favor by keeping them awake. I hoped that no one in the congregation had been witness to my attack, but not so lucky. After church the Elder's quorum President saw me and said that he had seen me 'deck' the lady in front of me. Hopefully no one else saw my brutal attack. To make things worse, this lady was just a visitor- she may think twice before visiting again. Next year we will have to put warning signs on the bench in front of me, warning the public of the onslaught that may follow sitting in front of me.
