Megan started asking us to take off her training wheels last spring, but at the time she had a broken arm so I said no. She asked again during the summer, but then it was way to hot to being riding bikes so I said no. She asked again last week after her best friend, McKenna, took her training wheels off, so Scott took them off last Saturday. I had to work (read a book) in the morning, but Scott took her out to practice. Scott got a lot of exercise that day running behind Megan's bike, but she didn't want Scott to let go. She kept saying she felt off-balance, I would too if my bike had a camera attached to record her first attempts.
We went back out today (Thanksgiving) and after a few minutes she was off by herself. We stayed at the park for over an hour and she rode then entire time. I think she picked up riding a bike faster than the other two kids. Way to go Megan!!
