13 years!

My family likes to joke (I think they are joking) that Scott did them a favor by marrying me. Sometimes I think they are correct. I went digging through some old photos and found an old one of Scott, and an old one of me. If we are judging solely off of the pictures, maybe my family is right.

Here is a photo from our wedding- luckily there was a photo already scanned into the computer. It isn't the best, but I went with what was accessible. Scott said if I said anything bad or posted bad pictures that he would do the same back, so maybe I should just have an ode to Scott post.

Scott has been traveling a lot recently for work. During his third trip in three weeks I had a little breakdown- I will blame it on the pregnancy. I was tired of doing everything myself and having no one to talk with. At least when Scott is home I can pretend that he is listening to me. I am glad that he is done traveling for a few weeks so I can sleep better and let someone else load the dishwasher.

Scott has been busy with painting our bedroom. After 13 years we finally have a bed frame and a nicer room then our kids. We still have a little way to go before it is done, but at least we can both see the end is in sight. Plus, it shows off how talented Scott is with his tools. He came up with the window sill/casing idea on his own and even though it took a very long time it looks great.

We went out and did a temple session yesterday. We made it to the American Sign Language session. That was interesting. I had always wondered if they just showed captions or if someone did the signing. Now we know. Then we had lunch/dinner at Outback. Neither one of us had bought the other a gift- kind of funny that we think a like. Guess that happens after 13 years. I will have to plan more ahead for next year.

So after 13 years we have: moved 7 times, had about 10 jobs that I care to mention, 5 cars, 4.75 kids, and 1 dog. Not bad- loved most every minute of the last 13 years. Hoping for 60+ more.

This was taken at the Boise, ID temple back in 2000. If I had picassa on my little computer I would have zoomed in for a better view. (hint)

This was taken in December, 2009
