Fall Fun

Every year the kids look forward to carving a few pumpkins. We do a girl pumpkin and a boy pumpkin, and the pumpkins are fake. In Arizona it is just too hot to carve a pumpkin early in October and expect it to last more then a day or two. So, we do fake pumpkins that we can save and pull out each year. This year Ben and Blake choose a white pumpkin and had Scott carve out a haunted tree. The girls picked a smaller orange pumpkin and had Scott carve out a silly face. As Scott was carving out the pumpkins I was inside with some of the kids frosting Halloween sugar cookies. Everyone was excited to frost their own cookies for their lunchboxes this week. Ben, Blake, and Megan all layered on a lot of frosting. I am hoping that most of that frosting will stick to the ziploc bag and they won't eat all that frosting.
