This week I also noticed that Blake is holding out a bit. He has shown me that he can stand, for short periods of time, by himself. I am looking forward to him walking so that my arm will get a break from holding him at the kids school in the mornings. I think Blake is also starting to get a tooth on the bottom.
We finally bought a new vacuum this week. The old vacuum was no longer sucking anything up, so I went out and bought my long admired Dyson vacuum. It was so pretty (yellow) when I put it together. It was almost a shame getting dirt in it. I vacuumed downstairs, and the canister filled up a bit. I took it upstairs and filled the canister up two times. The nice thing is I can run my hands and feet through the carpet without getting tangled in hair.
Scott painted the kitchen yesterday. All that stands to be finished this week is the final coat on the trim and island. Very exciting to be done. Just in time too since Madison's baptism is this next Saturday.
Today is General Conference. Scott decided to stay home this morning with Blake. I took the other kids to watch at the church. My favorite talks were Henry B. Eyring's, and Judy Beck from the Relief Society Presidency, and Elder Costa's talk about no regrets.
Another bright note this week has been the cooler weather. My house has been cooling off to 75 degrees at night, and the days have been nice as well. This is the one season I miss from Oregon and Illinois. I miss watching the leaves changing colors. It is a great time of year.
