Getting Ready for Halloween

We have been busy this weekend with Halloween activities. On Friday, Steve Jensen had a Halloween party. It was a potluck, so we took Halloween cakes. The kids had a great time playing games and winning prizes. They had rented a great bounce house with a big slide. All the kids loved that. Everyone was disappointed when it was time to go.

On Saturday, our neighbor Nancy Sota had a Halloween party. She had peaked over the fence this past week and invited the kids. I stayed home with Blake and Scott took the kids plus Gibson Anderson (a recent fixture in the house). Nancy had games and prizes, and even a haunted house. Madison and Megan didn't care for the haunted house, but Ben and Gibson had a great time. Scott said Megan was crying as she went through. The kids came home with cupcakes and really great treat bags. Ben wants to have a Halloween party here next year.

This coming Wednesday is Halloween. We have a full day of school parties and trick or treating.
