Wanted;

Ben and Blake have been sick for the past few days. Ben has had a fever of 104, and Blake 102 degrees. The boys have spent a lot of time on the couch reading, watching tv, and relaxing. Something is going around because lots of Madison's friends have been sick this past week also.

Last night I found Madison in the playroom on the couch pouting when she should have been in bed. I asked what was wrong, and after some cajoling, Madison said 'it isn't fair that Ben gets everything'. Madison was jealous that Ben was sick! She has wanted her temperature taken two times a day for the past few days. Unfortunately, the end result is always normal. Today after school Madison came in and again asked for me to take her temperature. This time it was 100.5 degrees. When I told Madison she got a huge, cheshire grin on her face. She was THRILLED to have a fever.

She had me take her temperature again this evening and once again it was above 100. The happy dance around the room began. I am not sure that many other people act this way when they are sick.
