Going to the State Fair is becoming an annual tradition for the family. This was Megan's first year performing with the KE group, Madison has been performing at the fair for the past 3 years. Usually we perform on a Saturday, but this year we had Wednesday. That was okay since it was free to get in to the fair and only $1 for the rides. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperating with us this year. Today had a high of 60 degrees with tons of wind. It was really cold, so the kids didn't have the best time. Aside from the bad weather the girls did great. They are so much more talented then the rest of us in tumbling. I can't even do a cartwheel.
After the performance we asked if the kids wanted to do some rides and everyone said no. It was just to cold and windy to enjoy the fair. Maybe next year.
