Macy- 7 weeks

The first picture is Macy at 3 weeks, and the rest are from today at 7 weeks wearing the same outfit. Looking at the two different ages shows me just how quickly babies can change. Macy's head is really showing her love for food- as represented in a double chin and big chipmunk cheeks. She is really smiling a lot now. The best time to get a smile is after eating. This little girl does not wake up happy- she wakes up HUNGRY. Until she is fed she is not a happy baby. We are doing a little better with lifting up the neck. She really doesn't like being on her stomach so we don't get too much tummy time practice. She loves being held and walking around while held. Macy started a bedtime routine a few weeks ago and is now loving her nights. We do bath, a few stories, a few songs, then eat one more time. She will quickly go to sleep after that unless she gets the hiccups or a dirty diaper. If one of those occur is is much harder for her to relax and go to sleep. We also moved upstairs to my room this week. Scott thinks Macy is a loud sleeper- I say they are in competition with each other over who is the loudest. Both are equally loud to me.
