Megan asked me the other night, 'who had the cutest baby clothes?'. I said that all my kids had very cute baby clothes. I don't think she was satisfied with that answer because as we looked through photos last night she said that SHE had the cutest baby clothes. Yesterday, Megan went on a school field trip into Phoenix and then went to a park to play. The temperature high for yesterday was 40 degrees. Poor girl came home saying she was cold- she had a fever of 102 degrees. This, of course, made her start crying about not wanting to be sick on her birthday. Some gatorade, a bubble bath (with bath crayons), and resting on the couch did the trick. This morning she woke up starving and ready to go back to school. She wanted to take in Lofthouse Sugar Cookies to school to share with her class. Everyone at home is jealous, since we all love those cookies.
Megan is one of my more 'sociable' kids. If I see her at school, gym, church, etc.. she always has a few girls with her. She will sometimes play by herself at home, but that is usually when she is planning her next play or making crafts. She prefers to have someone with her, doing something. She likes to think she is funny (Scott would say that she takes after me that way): she will go into the downstairs bathroom and start singing or laughing very loudly to make us laugh from the dinner table. She loves to help make cookies, play on the computer, ride her new bike, go shopping, play the piano, and tumbling. She adds so much fun into our family. Happy birthday Megan!
