Megan's Baptism

Megan's baptism was on Saturday (Feb. 12). My Mom and Dad, and Jennifer and Cage flew in for a visit and the baptism. They flew in on Thursday and we heading to the mall for lunch at Paradise Bakery and a little shopping. Friday, my Dad and Mom took Megan out to IHOP for breakfast then shopping at Deseret Book for her first set of scriptures. After taking Megan back to school we spent the afternoon shopping a little more. I think shopping with family is so much more fun then shopping alone.

Saturday morning was Megan's baptism. She was so excited and she knew exactly where she wanted to sit during the baptism.

After she was baptized, I asked her how she felt. Megan said she felt 'good, but really cold'. After she started to dry off she mentioned that she would like to be baptized again but 'wearing a swimsuit, since they dry faster'.

The bishop said how in his interview with Megan she said she wanted 14 pets for her birthday- don't think that will ever happen. He also said that he could feel that she was a 'good' person. He said that word was Calous in Greek. Might have spelled it wrong- but it is pronounced similar to callous.

Scott confirmed Megan and mentioned in the blessing that she had a strong spirit of faith and a strong testimony of Jesus Christ. Anyone who knows Megan can feel this.

After the baptism we headed home for a lunch of sub sandwiches, chips, and Costco cookies- Megan's favorites. A great day.
