Tonight we decided to try something new and go roller skating. The kids were really excited to go and even did their jobs early to be able to go. The building has had a new paint job since I last was there, but everything else looked the same. We put on our skates and the kids had a few quick falls. Megan was practically flopping around like a toy doll, so I held her up. Madison had an easier time and I think that had to do with her heely shoes. By the end Madison was flying around the room. Megan and Ben spent the first hour on the floor and wanted to stop and go home. Luckily they stuck it out because during that second hour they were doing much better. Megan could skate very slowly on her own, and Ben was able to skate around while holding onto the walls. When it was time to leave the kids all asked when we could go back and skate again. Hopefully they won't fall so much next time.
