I am very blessed. Blessed to have a great family, one that is usually filled with laughter and silliness (sometimes excessive silliness while trying to eat). I love my kids (all 5 of them) and the man that shares them with me. I am grateful to have been raised in the family that I did, couldn't have asked for a better family. Grateful that Scott has such a great family and wonderful parents. Blessed to be able to stay home with my kids, and sometimes sleep in, while Scott goes to work. Thankful that I found a job that lets me work 8 hours a week and more if I have time. Loving that I live in a time where there are cell phones with unlimited minutes so I can talk with my Mom and sisters everyday, and my brothers pretty often. Thankful to live in a city where I have family, stores, friends, and great schools. I have a great house, a car that runs (most of the time), a great babysitter, and a great dog. I am grateful to live in the United States and blessed to have the freedoms that being a citizen provides me. Grateful to live in a time where I have the Book of Mormon, a temple only 20 minutes away, and my ward building 2 minutes from my house. Blessed to know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that I can live with my family forever.
I am very blessed.
Off topic, but our family song for this year is 'Let Us Oft Speak Kind Words'. Love that one. Hoping that by singing it regularly, and by the kids playing it on the piano daily, that we can speak nicer to our own family and those around us.
