Epcot
Epcot has some great rides: Test Track, Mission Space, Soaring- and that is about it. Since there is only a few big rides the lines get LONG, without fast passes some of the wait times were 2-3 hours long. During most of our trip to Disney we took advantage of the fast passes and ride swap tickets. This allowed a lot of the kids to ride each ride two times in a row, and the kids really enjoyed it. I was usually in the second batch of riders, and when I rode test track Christian was in my car. I was in the front and Christian was in the back of the car. He must like keeping his arms in the air during rides because if I put my arms down he would say, "Put your hands in the air like you just don't care", and "why don't you like putting your hands in the air?". After a few times of hearing this, I just left my arms up.
After test track we rode Mission: Space. Another favorite of Ben's. Grace said that she had so much fun on that ride that she was laughing. Next up was Soaring. When we got into the fast pass line the wait for the standard line was 150 minutes. Way too long to wait for a 5 minute ride. I had forgotten to take my backpack off and leave it with the second group so I had to carry the bag onto the ride. The little spot that the bag was supposed to fit in was way too small, or the bag was too big. Either way, it was very hard to stuff my bag into the space. Blake was getting worried that the ride would start without me on it. Glad to know he is concerned for my safety. Tiffany came over to help push the bag in and wondered if I packed my hotel room into the bag. Once we got the bag in I sat down and Blake asked me if Soaring was a fast or slow ride. When I said that it was slow Blake said, 'yesssss'. When I asked why he liked slow rides he said, "Because when it goes fast I freak out, and when it goes really fast I freak out and shiver." Funny kid.
We spent the rest of the day walking around Epcot and going to the smaller rides: Ellen, Turtle Talk with Crush, and Spaceship Earth. On spaceship Earth they take your picture so at the end you are shown on the TV screen living your "preferred" life. I rode with Blake, and apparently he was too small to have his picture taken, so at the end he just had an animated character for him. Ben had sneezed when they took his photo, bad timing I guess. The picture of him was a animated black boy. Guess the photo of him had his head down, and all they saw was his dark hair. Pretty funny. We were all pretty wiped out by 5pm so we headed back to the hotel for dinner and then the lego store.
