We slept in til 7:30am (since we have had Macy we don't sleep in anymore)and got ready for church. We were going to go to church, with my cousin Lyric who lives in Orlando, at 1pm. We went down to get breakfast and it was BUSY. It seem ed as though everyone likes to eat breakfast at 9am. We quickly got our food- pancakes, waffles, sugar cereal, chocolate milk, and juices. The kids were in food heaven. I think I heard 'we don't get to eat like this at home' more then a few times that trip. It took a little while to find a table, then Scott and I attempted to eat while feeding Macy, getting napkins, extra syrup, cleaning up spills, etc. Chaos.
After breakfast we went outside and walked around for a bit. The weather was wonderful the entire trip: 75-80 degrees, sunny and warm. I was glad for that, we had left Phoenix cold and rainy.
We left shortly the hotel shortly after breakfast and headed for the temple to walk around for a bit (5 minutes) then went to the church building. We get to the building and there is no sight of Lyric and the ward using the chapel was almost finished. My Dad calls Lyric and finds out we are at the wrong building- nice. We hop back into the cars and get to church a little late, but all is well. Madison loved my cousins ward. She came home with a goodie bag filled with nail polish and other fun things.
After church was dinner at my cousin Lyric's place. It was great to catch up with her again. It is always fun to visit with family. And- I don't normally eat pulled pork, but it was really good.
