Randomness

Saturday our stake had their annual Pioneer Day Parade/Breakfast. Megan and Blake consented to wearing a bonnet/hat, but Madison and Ben wouldn't put on their hats. Their excuse was something about not looking 'cool'. I probably would have said the same thing. The pioneer parade was led by a tractor. I wasn't aware that the pioneer's had gas powered tractors. I would think if pioneers did have tractors they would have ridden them instead of walking next to a wagon. Just my opinion. After the parade we went inside and had pancakes for breakfast.

Scott spent all Saturday working on our closet for under the stairs- framing, caulking, and painting. This morning I noticed that the paint he used was not a light brown like the rest of the wall, but a peach color. I guess we will be painting again.

Ben wanted to make a treat after church- so I had him make puppy chow. It was a good way to get rid of all our chex cereal that the kids wouldn't eat.

One last piece of randomness: Blake was acting up in church so Scott took him outside, literally. Scott put him outside the door and then he walked back in. After Blake calmed down Scott brought him back inside and sat down with us. Scott said, "You okay, Buddy?" to Blake. Blake still holding a grudge from having to go outside said, "I'm not your buddy".
