Day 7

Scott and my Dad went golfing early this morning. My Dad left saying he would do 9 holes- Scott decided he would tolerate heat stroke and finish the 18 hole course. My Mom and I (with the kids) decided to go to the Sonoco (where my Dad works) pool and go swimming. Employees of Sonoco can pay $2.50 a month if they want to have access to the pool, bowling alley, pool tables, etc.. With such a low fee you would expect these fun things to be crowded. Nope, last night we were the only ones bowling and today we were the only people swimming. The kids had a great time having a huge pool to themselves. The 2 lifeguards seemed a little bored watching just our family swim.

After swimming we went to Sonic for lunch. I have always thought that the Hartsville Sonic is the nicest one I have been to. They have a fenced in playground, sand volleyball, and batting cages available for the customers to use. I wish they all had that. We ate outside in the play area, but didn't stay too long since it was so warm outside.

After dinner Scott took the kids outside to use the BB-gun and 22. Another great vacation day.
