Vacation Day9

We spent the night on Kyle's couch and floor, so we awoke early Friday morning. That was good though, because we got to the beach around 9am and it was pretty empty. Madison and Ben spent the next 3 hours in the water, while Megan, Blake, and I played in the sand. Mostly it was Megan and I building sand castles, and Blake attempting to crush them. Megan also enjoyed getting buried with sand- and Blake had to copy that.

By noon we were ready to head back to Kyle's to eat and relax. Scott and Ben took off and went to a ship with air planes on it?? Scott will have to fill in that info. The girls went shopping and loaded up on cheap souvenir T-shirts. My Dad volunteered to stay with Blake while he napped. If Kyle had cable I might have volunteered for that job.

After shopping it was time to drive back to my Mom and Dad's. We got back home at 6pm, and Blake woke up from his 6 hour nap. I guess he was a little worn out from all of our vacation activities. We decided to head back to the pool and wear off some of the kids energy. This time the pool was a little more crowded (6 people) so that gave the life guards more to do. Amazingly enough, Even after the 6 hour nap Blake went to bed on time. Guess he was tired.

Saturday (Day 10) we flew home. Luckily this time we didn't have a long flight delay and we made it home at 9pm. School starts in 2 days, so it is perfect timing. A great way to end summer vacation.

Sounds like you guys had an awesome vacation! And, if I might add, I am in love with your Blake. He is just a doll! Glad you made it home without a hassle this time.
